When you think you can't take pictures

46 days, 1 hour, 45 minutes passed since the last time I had my camera in my hand. Yes, it is as bad as it sounds. Because photography is part of my life for so many years and I am addicted to it.

I had to fix my knee. So, I had a surgery and now I must be very patient and work hard to make it stronger and return back to my previous life.

Documentary and travel photography is the kind of photography I love. But of course you can't make these kind of photos when you only move from your home to the physiotherapist and back.

Yesterday I had a small talk with George Tatakis and he told me to make photos during my physiotherapy. At first, this sounded to me like a joke, but today it seemed like my only chance to make some new photos. Even using my phone's bad camera. So I took a few photos, turned these into b&w and sent to Reflex Photographers.

The truth is that I don't take my camera off my bag if I am not going to use it seriously. This is why i haven't used it for so many days. It will take me many more days to walk around, hold my camera again and make some photos. It is actually the first time I am so far away from action but in my mind photography is always there. The most important thing after my lovely family. Can't wait to return back into action again.
